Established in 2003 as a discussion by four expert panelists on the subject of Ethics, the Round-Table Discussion Series has examined a wide variety of subjects.
From the start, the objective has been to confront issues that affect our lives directly and that are currently being debated.
The format is to invite one or more expert panelists to present a factual background that can be used as a starting point for a discussion. Then the Rabbi gives the participants a Jewish perspective to the subject. Finally, questions and comments are solicited from all. A lively discussion usually follows.
Incidentally, there is always a delicious and light meal is served with the program.
