Emanuel Picnic
The Emanuel Picnic has become an annual funfest to give the school year a rousing start. Held on the first day of the Religious School year, there are hot dogs and hamburgers, potato chips and salads, and lots of soda, water, coffee, and tea. There are games and contests and prizes. The fun starts on the lawn and patio area just south of the Emanuel building, but always seems to spill out to the park just across the street and onto the Thorndale beach.
For the parents and even for those that don’t have kids in the school, this is the chance to renew friendships and form new ones after the long summer hiatus. Even Emanuel’s seniors love to be there.
Below is a slide show of various scenes from the last few years.
